Agreed - it's not easy.

Sometimes you have to write with a double vowel that makes the difference. The 'placing' of your tone with long vowel sound also makes the difference.

Tiwe,niwe - it's not him/her it's you / it's not you it's him/her (tone,long vowel)

i-i-ria - those,iria-sea,milk etc

That's the beauty of it. The Kikuyu bible can be a good book for exercises.
