God the Father
God the Son
God the Spirit.

God as one, but expressed in 3 different natures.
How difficult is that to understand surely.

The Father commands
The Son carries out the command
The spirit brings into effect the Command of the Father and the action of the son.

I learnt this when I was a teenager but memory is still fresh.

God is one!

God the son is man! (PBUH)

God the spirit is Satan!
Mark 12:29
Deuteronomy 4:16

@tycho,why I say he wasn't as 'man' is this;
Philippians 2.7. 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, ...
God in flesh emptied his divinity to reedem mankind.
Jesus learned, studied, asked questions. Why if he was all knowing?

Quote:
Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself

He was only obeying orders from the Father.
Now that didn't make him less.He was still God in flesh. He had to be limited as man and think as one so as to redeem us.
Man is not omniscient.

But am open to correction.

As God 'emptied' himself, was 'the' Man filled with his Spirit so that he could bridge the whole of humanity to God.

The Spirit of God acting through Man, for the sake of eternal life and peace, is the Christ. And such a spirit is available to those who seek and knock.

God is omniscient, but God as man on earth in the form of Jesus wasn't.
God limited himself and became flesh(man) and we all know that man is not omniscient.
That statement was made before the resurrection while he walked and thought as man.
After rising from the dead,he ceased being man and took on the Father's nature.
In other words HE knows.

Can we?

we what

Embrace the Father's nature and know too.

No! You are a creature not the creator.
A creature cannot partake of the creator's nature.
Jesus wasn't created. He was God himself.
What you are suggesting is what Lucifer had in mind before he became satan.
He tried the same at the Garden of Eden.
Always trying to be like God.
The best you can do is read the times. That is what we are commanded to do.
And yeah be God's extension to mankind by acting godly not become a 'god.

Applause preach sister

@essyk just breathe and think a little bit why Christianity is in its current state!

Were these the intentions of God the father as you call him or Jesus??

Is it not the "helper" who got us here??

I haven't suggested anything,I just asked a question. We are told to be perfect as the heavenly Father is perfect, how do you interpret that?

1.Man is not perfect-Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
2.You cannot be made perfect without the author of perfection in you.
3.Perfection is a lifetime process-Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

How does a man become perfect,by simply abiding in the vine and bearing fruits.
Perfection is not a process/ route to becoming a 'god'.
It's aimed at developing christ's character in us.

Is it all about character? If one is filled with the spirit, won't it work through you as it did in Christ to the extent of one's faith?

God is one and only he is holy. The holy spirit comes forth from God,how then can the spirit be Satan?

Please explain more about the second coming in Islam.

God's intention is not to create Heaven on Earth.
As long as the devil roams sin/evil will always prevail and it is not a respecter of persons.
Until his time is up, he continues messing us.
We are to blame for availing ourselves for his use.
See Guru We can't blame God for our own mistakes.
He gave us a choice and choices have consequences.
What he did was provide a way of redemption but the choice remains yours.
Trust me people christians included pay dearly for their evil actions.
So in as much as we are seeing lots of evil esp among christians, what I know is that there is a refiners fire sweeping through them and they feel the heat.
After all he God is Just and fair and he once rained stones on people.Laughing out loudly
He leaves us to choose our destinies.

Isn't that like blaming doctors for unhealthy people?
