How would these compare with the Iphone5?

iPhone 5 - No nfc,html5.Not future proof.
BBz10 - OS,developers and apps issue.
HTC - comes in second
Samsung - Best processor,good battery,best camera,display as good as htc,weight second only to iPhone,IR port(possible universal remote apps),Multitude of sensors,HTML5,Adobe Flash.

How do you intend to use NFC in Kenya? What are the draw backs of no html 5 in iPhone 5 for you? Future proof - how long do you intend to have your smart phone before upgrading? And what are the future proof specs you find in HTC, BB and Samsung?
Why would you need the apps that BB 10 does not currently have? Which ones are they?
How would Samsung having the best processor make it better than the rest when they are mostly on different OS which means that higher processor power may not necessarily lead to better performance? Have you for example considered whether the way QNX, iOS and Android operate in determining that the best specs mean the best phone? Would it not be better to consider phones based on actual performance when in use as opposed to specs?

Samsung S4 is crap from the word go

Starting with its plastic cheap cover...no innovation at all compared to its previous.

Quad Core proccessor for what?? Is it to be operated in spaceships \rockets??

Battery is pathetic,

Other phones has flash,HTML5,HDMI and many other superb features

Compared to the Sony xperia z ,it scores very lowly

NFC is the next payment method. It works in seamlessly with our mobile payments.Google is on it with the beba card and orange I think has phones on it.Safaricom will make a move on it.It has a variety of applications that can be exploited.

Drawbacks,html5 is a relatively new but powerful standard that incorporates both smartphones and pc in its implementation. With it you don't have to worry so much about which phones people have and it will be preferable in some implementations over making apps. Its easier for developers thus it will flourish.

By future proof,I was talking in terms of avoid upgrades.Technology has a tendency of upgrading an object and adding a few things here and there. The phone has the most important upgrades in the smartphone arena,NFC and HTML5.

There are no future proof specs when it comes to smartphones. The technology becomes cheaper and better with time.Thats just how it is.IMO the Samsung can shield someone from unnecessary upgrades from some time.Although considering the price someone who can buy comfortable might not find this an issue.

BB has to battle with IOS,Android and Windows OSs.Its easier to find one of those developers than it is BB.Apps tend to follow market share.

I agree,it is better to compare a phone on performance more than on specs but at some point they still pull a lot of weight in performance.
