If you’re looking for a high-quality and long-lasting flooring option, choose bamboo flooring.

The advantage of bamboo flooring include:

1. Cost friendly compared to ordinary hardwood floors

2. Green: Bamboo products are incredibly green and eco-friendly due to their short planting, maturing and harvesting time.

3. They are easy on the eyes

4. They are available in different colors and for wide uses. They can be installed both indoors and outdoors

On average, bamboo floor tiles are cheaper than wooden floor tiles (parquet) square meter.

On average parquet (for interiors) for example is KES 1600 per Square meter, bamboo flooring for interior spaces starts at KES 1400 per square meter.

Bamboo can also be used on external spaces and the price for this flooring is an average of KES 2580.

For long term consideration, bamboo is more durable hence cost saving on repairs/maintenance.

Inclusive of VAT.

Labour charges not included. Labour rates are subject to personal negotiations for both wood & bamboo flooring.

Take a construction floor area of 3000SM. If you opt for wooden flooring total cost for flooring would be 4.8 Million.(Price being KES 1600 Per SM)

For bamboo the TC will be 4.2 Million (Price being 1400). Do the math on the cost savings.

Of course the value of savings can be lower if you're just installing the finishes on a small room. If you are thinking big (Commercial) however, the savings are more than significant.

Every smart developer knows how to select material that's durable, appealing and most importantly reasonably priced.
