what is the stuctured way of doing this..i.e if I want to buy shares that are not listed..

1. Where do i go or who do i talk to.

2. How do I know the quoted prices are realistic

3. How do I ensure the right of ownership is tranfered to me.

1. There are brokers that deal with OTC shares.
2. You never know even in the listed shares, it is a gut feeling thing or use the professionals to advice.
3. You get a certificate and it is fully legal, the only challenge is that selling can take time.

kindly check on http://www.unaitas.com/home.php and read on public share offer document plus you will get the branches from the site.

Kindly note that UNAITAS is a Sacco and as such has no limited capital.Their shares are sold at the branches at 10 bob and the price is always the same.It wil only be OTC if they change from sacco.Hope this helps
