This is probably the best peanut butter in the Kenyan market... always smooth, no additives...just salt.... and remains smooth to the bottom of the jar.

BUT now it has disappeared from the shops. I have been looking since November.

Anyone with a clue where I can get; or an alternative brand?

I only buy winnie's pure health products from the shelves.
I hate other brands cz of excess 'oil' floating on top and the bad raw taste.

Will check out this Angel.

This type of peanut butter is more natural than those that don't separate like Skippy and other overly processed spreads.

@chiaroscuro, Spreads are quite easy to make at home. Buy the ingredients and just prepare. In your case, buy the peanuts, roast and grind them ( most juicers come with a grinder) , add honey if you like it and then mix the final ingredients using your blender. That way you are assured 100% purity with no oily stuff. That is the way i do mine.

@Chiaroscuro, very ingenious way to market a product, create the impression there is a shortage and bang everyone is curious and wants a piece of it.... i would go Gathige's way.

Not quite @Eddy; This is legit. I have also been looking for this Angels peanut butter in the supermarkets since October/November 2012.

It is out of stock... also, does anyone know what happened to Nestea? It also disappeared from the shelves even though the Nestle website lists it as one the brands sold in Kenya

Very true. Best peanut butter, of all that I have tried, so far. Found it at Nakumatt Mega, and immediately picked 2.

Not from my experience. Been using it almost exclusively instead of blue-band for more that three years now and have not had any problems in any family member.

Only thing I know is that peanuts are not recommended for children under two. It can trigger allergies.
