The concrete slabs are much too much for foot traffic and there in lies the wastage I was talking of earlier in this thread. first look at the width of the bridge hata vitz haitoshei.ni footbridge na ni wastage. zebra crossings and ramps were sufficient there.I've never seen any accident occur in that stretch neither does any jam occur there becos of crossing pedestrians. punda amecheka

The width looks fine for a one way road, considering the width of the pangani flyover which is a two way traffic road. but we wait and see

Those pillars are for supporting 3 axle lorries, but when it applies to humans, I think they are predicting some kind of obesity of University students and the surrounding inhabitants. Doesn't make sense why that much weight needs to be accounted for.

Yani wazua hakuna mtu KURA ama KenHA? hiyo ni shortcut ya moto-ka from westlands going into cbd, just oneway Mukiri wrote:Flyover road for Central Police station's rapid response to CBD If it's for cars; then the flow MUST be from CBD to university & police station.... unless we change traffic rule and start keeping right instead of left! OR may be convert upper Muindi Mbingu street and Harry Thuku road into one-way thoroughfares....heading into CBD

I find it kinda wastage when we eastleigh kariokor and most eastlands roads are in a deplorable state. These are city council roads. Nope.... KURA [Kenya Urban Roads Authority]. Don't you remember a time when Kisia was quick to dissociate CCN from city roads repairs after people sent him many complaints about worn out roads?
