monkeys jump around trees for a reason. access kenya fell from about 35 to below 5. my crystal ball tells me its propelling back to its rightful value . add to the mix a prospective buyout and you get the picture. a doubling in 3 or so months from 3.5 to 7

@ayub900 - They have not announced a buyout like KK had done BUT the Somens are opening to selling AK at the 'right price' which should be in excess of KES 9.10 (IPO price adjusted for 1:10 bonus)...

Marketing a product is one thing, but faking or alluding pending deals that never will transpire is another thing.

CEOs will talk of products that will “revolutionize” an industry or have growth potential that makes them “the next Big Thing.”

But, brothers and sisters, take everything you read with a fistful of salt at the NSE, especially when it comes to small (micro-) cap firms.
Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

Back to IPO price in a flash.

Wonder if it's @QW pumping the price of his pet stock...

But seriously it's starting to smell like KK in Feb 2012...

For some reasons, this smells like the pump and dump scheme that @chessmaster talks about

Since 2008/9 I've heard AK was a prime target for a buyout. It holds vital infrastructure but in a very quickly evolving landscape,so possible but time could be against them.

The admission by the Somen's is disheartening. If you have something of value, you want people to approach you not the other way round because its gives you more leverage.Their intentions leave me confused.

Last week the supply indicated its position after the earnings report.AK could be used to fuel a rally in the NSE because of the price and its performance so far.Wanjiku's can be easily baited by seeing such a performance in less than 3months.So far the market is still on fear mode where I thrive.Any pump and dump schemes might hamper a proper rally as it will kill confidence. But I believe they are being set up in plain sight at least thats what I'd do if that was my interest.

Heavy bids clustered at 7.90 - 8.00 level. This is getting interesting for this stock that was forgotten 2yrs ago...

Indeed the market forgets fast...
