Gosh, you guys are philosophising unrequited love? It is what it is.

What's next, theorising on loving one child more than another?

How do you place a limit on knowledge?

'Loving one child more than the other' should also be examined. But I see the culprit is 'Selfishness'.

Might I suggest, before an esoteric interpretation:

- Listen to a Jasmine Sullivan album
- Listen to an Amy Winehouse album

Otherwise it's all theory

I love all things and people that please me. What about those that don't please me?

So the biased parent let's the 'sun' shine on his favorites only.

A failure to understand the 'I' perhaps?

Can one romance without love?
How about love without Romance?

I am referring to 2 adults in a relationship.

Tycho what is romance in your view?

"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

Romance is the story narrated, and/or the conversation ensuing between a man and woman seeking and finding fulfillment and completeness, and consummating their sexual desire. It's the finding of God by a man and woman.

Romance can only be powered by love. Every expression is love.

But I am aware 'romance' has been used for what I may call 'lust management'.

When is a person complete? A person is complete when there's consciousness of identity, power, and enjoyment of being and all creation.

One can only appreciate and enjoy the other under such conditions of completeness.

Romance is about completeness, and completeness is about God.
