Unajua yao is two thirds majority. So runoff mpaka ijitokeze. There are 115 electors and a pope needs 77. Italians form the biggest tribe in these elections. They are 28 of them. The last two popes have been Polish and German respectively but before that the Italians held the post for more than 400 years. The last Non Italian pope before John Paul II the second was Adrian VI a Dutch who was elected in 1522. The Italians may get it back.
