CFC Stanbic Financial Services on Tuesday announced a Sh51 million loss for the first six months up to June 30,2009.

What is next for the Bank?

The MD attributes this poor performance to downturn at the NSE.
My worry is:
1. Will be another Nyaga's Stock Brocking?
2.Should i take off before the worst manifests itself?
3.Could this be caused by poor customer service at their branches?
4.Will their technology i.e online services make Cfc ht bak

Wat do u skerians think?

This is the only firm that has abided by the new rules as per tge CBK that brockerage firms must release their financial results. I bet the others are worse.

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

I agree with @sober. So far they are the only ones to declare their half year results. Lets wait to hear from the rest to make a proper analysis

Others will perform dismally......Infact,the big 'mboys' are not ready for this but again the law is an ass......It's the results or they are suspended from trading.Let's keep an eye on each and every one of them.......

CFC Fin is not the 1st remember Nic capital did the same some time back and they also made losses as well. But i would attribute the loss other than the obvious slump in thye mkt there is also bad customer service to this firm.and reliance to corporates.

The deadline for them to publish is 31st august. most will publish on the very day....so hold on there are more shockers to come...

But i wouldnt blame them, the stretch btw the last close to 1.5 years has been a nightmare to many....
