I don't agree with you fully! One thing is true. God is a jealous God. He wants to be praised,adored,worshipped etc. If you don't,then he feels very jealous.
There was nobody like Moses! The bible records that Moses spoke to God,face to face,like a man speaks with his friend. Now,God killed Moses( that is rude of me to say,well its true) when Moses refused to acknowledge God in the Wilderness. Moses spoke to a rock and the rock produced water and the Israelites drank from it. Now Moses was to acknowledge God,but he did not. He was to give all the glory back to God,for the miracle,but he did not. So what happened?
Moses died,without tasting the promised land! How sad! 'God dwells in the praises of his people',that is in Psalms. God loves praises,not doing so is a disservice to the Creator of all flesh.
But you shall remember the LORD your God,for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth,that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers,as it is this day. Deu 8:18
