Kenya gaining from PE firms’ dollars

E&Y says in a new report that investors are shifting their focus to Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia which have had higher growth than the continent’s largest economy, South Africa, which has showed signs of slowing down in recent years.

“PE firms are increasingly diversifying their geographical focus outside the more advanced economy of South Africa,” said the report dated February 2013.

We've been discussing this with @cde. KE is yet to see a flood of gulf funds. They've recently landed in Zim. It is this flood that makes $ buying a no trade (as well as a defensive CBK ready to go rogue) if you look long term.

Gulf sovereign funds as well as asian and the rest of other PE funds are chasing decent yield offered by SSA region going forward. A multi year bull run in SSA equities is coming soon.

Hopefully KE votes peacefully Pray smile

The market and the UK put. Fear central this for the fearful teen bull. Fear sets up powerful rallies. The next fear put to overcome is the ICC hurdle. A lot of barriers ahead for this teen bull.

I like this trade setup. Awesome rally ahead with all the fear barriers.
