Good performance, though i do not understand the cost drivers of their business fully and how they might impact it going forward. Life is short. Live passionately.

How? They dont produce copper rather they require it as raw material? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

As long as there is a need for development cables will thrive even if the cost of raw materials goes up(they'll just transfer it to the consumer). The major problem is cheaper products. But cheap is expensive and dangerous when it comes to such materials.Just my opinion. China is buying the raw and using it all in its electrical and electronics industry, therefore; - No cheap fakes from China to this region, - Growing demand of Cu in the region can be met by a local manufacturer due to cost, - the rising cost of Cu will keep off new manufacturers due to high Capital needed and inability to get the raw. @dunkang, dont you think that since China is buying in bulk, they are maximizing on the economies of scale and will eventually be supplying to the world at a cheaper price? Please dont get me wrong, but my thinking is that the demand of copper by China will push the price of the raw material up, China will eventually produce a cheaper product and companies like KPLC and Umeme etc might just source for the finished product from China...(they aint bound to cables). I could be wrong "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

I think you are wrong. The Cu is for local (Inside China) consumption, so there is none left to sell to the outer world. Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

@dunkang, dont call for high copper price. it'll bring a disaster to the ea-cable bottom line. FY12 we are enjoying the fruits of low metal prices

I'm curious, why would the Chinese be curious about imports now.Anyway, who's to say they will offer it at the same quality and at a cheaper price than cables. If they do,we'll know they are making a move.A major entrant like that won't sneak in.
