Ok, is this a real scenario or you are describing Raila?smile

If it's for real then I hate to inform you that the flat screens - plasma, LCD, HD ready etc you see everywhere are analogues, digitals are still expensive.

Its a real scenario, only that my enemies are out to finish me.

I won't mind coughing some more coins, so long as next month I will have reduced if not eliminated my hitherto nerve boggling issue.

Please note that some of your family friends have threatened to only deal with you when necessary as their rules at home don't allow them to visit homes or have relationships with people with digital TV sets.

So your new digital tv will be the type that tendas na kusemas?

I recommend you retire the old set to the village. it will still keep those villagers and shamba boys entertained with mshamba's jokes and vitendawilis.

I will however warn you, be very careful as you purchase your digital set. We have seen Sqny sold as Sony in this market. It may read HD Tv but in real sense could be Hague Destined.

Remember with new technology also comes new challenges, you might find yourself on Skype 24/7 with the Technical Support team based somewhere in Europe trying to make this new set work smile

@harrydre, hats off I will consider you I set up the think tank of helping me dispose this TV set.
I'm a Westerner Kenyan, the idea of taking to the village is definitely superb. I wish to take to the village by air, after all although it gave me a serious headache it served me for the 10 years. For the new technology technical team based in Europe, I'm considering having the team based in Kenya. I know I will have to pay the team handsomely, I'm willing to pay @harrydre considering my previous experience where the TV goes off or shows 'rains' when I'm just about to watch the Final of AFCON, or when Barca are playing Real- its just worth it!!
