Mighty cheap if you ask me! ..just on the line. ..for me..it's a buy @18 or below.. otherwise..will sit out as i've done thus far. ..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16 - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

When it was at 15bob guys were telling me stories about waiting for 13bob! When it was at 17.50bob guys were saying strongly they were waiting at15bob.. If A stock is cheap just buy.. You never know what tomorrow will bring! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

It's not about how cheap the stock is..but what other alternatives to that stock are there.. my priority is on stocks with >8% div yield and a p/e less than 6% and a PSR less than 1... HFCK comes to that threshhold at a price of 17.5 and below.. ..it's just my criteria..has nothing to do ith cheap or expensive..just my criteria ..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16 - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

Very true guru, very true. .If it had indeed moved to 15 the same guys would change their minds to wait it at 12,11 and so on. .. what they fail to realise is that the fundtl reasons that cud make a stock tank that much will eventually change their descisions...well most of the time

We need a head count here. Bus imejaa. We shouted for ppl to buy at 15 but they wanted 13. @mlenny. I like ur 60 prediction 2014 Dec. I predict 30 end this year . 40 end 2014. But id be happier if ur right. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

I have been shooting for a top ten holding on this one right from 15 ,going for the dividend yield and better financials in the coming year.I got shut out with a quarter of my purchase not done, when the price went above my buy limit price of my 18.50,i will be glad if went back to that level so i can complete my buying .My buy average buy is 17.1 for a substantial holding and an 8% dividend yield.

Customer A borrows 1mn & pays 14% per annum in interest. Perhaps even a little principal... Then rates jump to 28% which means 2x interest payments required. Forget the principal repayments. Well, the folks at KRA may disallow the DTA. Look what they did with Coca-Cola bottlers, Bidco & BBK. Could HFCK win? Yes. After spending time & cash. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

HFCK MD Frank Ireri sees higher inflation in Q1 this year. “Tied to that will be resultant monetary policies in terms of interest rates,” he said. Higher interest rates “would eat into their net interest income” and raise interest expenses as they did in the first half of 2012, Nairobi-based AIB Capital Ltd. has said in an e- mailed note to clients. The high interest rates would also raise the level of NPA.
