Office Bullies

 How can one put bullies in their place? Why do people bully others in the office? I exp it a few years back when I started work in a new office and that exp alone left me traumatised till date. My bully was a big,loud mama who caused tremors everytime she walked in.She made everybody her slave and enjoyed doing it.It gave her energy and boosted her ego when she saw us shake like leaves. Men feared her!clients experienced her negative attitude but she was just there like a pillar. Some bullies will go to the extent of deliberately setting you up, so you can find yourself in trouble with the boss. Others will try to make you deviate from your work to do theirs. A colleague left her new place of work because the ones she was to report to did not share vital info to enable her perform.She was good but it's really difficult to cope in a new environment without support. Which is the best way to deal with it? Confront them? Report them?.(this never works) One time, I was too depressed, that I thought of ganging up with 3 fellow workmates,wear black hoods and wait for the bully in the lift late evening so we could give her a beating or tie her to a tree and just go home. a colleague it's easier to handle but when its the manager it becomes very difficult. My manager used to harass me but one time he did a mistake/blunder I pounced on it and reported, for a week he was depressed and I was like that is how we feel when you harass us.But silence is a very good tool, just go on with your duties and don't enter into a confrontation . Africa belongs to Africans.

If the bully does not have security detail like president Kibaki's I know some guys who can deal with the bully once and for all.

When i was in High School and the school Head boy was becoming a pain in the *** , guys would wait until there is some function, like the drama festival, outside of the school and exert their revenge there. They would pay some thugs who would in turn burn up the Head boy's face and beard with lit cigarettes in front of girls and the Head boy would be good to everyone in school until he forgot about the incidence. Some other tricks would be employed if the students discovered he had gone back to his old silly ways.

I once had such a manager.It reached a point,I couldn't take it anymore.I got some investigators and they brought me information on the manager and the ceo.I then send someone to tell the ceo how the manager brags that he is wealthy,how he tells people that the ceo's dad was a watchman,how he tells people that the ceo has a son with his former housegirl and how he has planted charms in the ceo's office although for this I liaised with a cleaner who put a tree bark at a location in the office.The ceo was shocked at the information and from then sat on the manager and 3 months later,he was sacked.

I washed the entire DH alone. But those are tales for another day. Aww! i forgot we were talking about office bullies.....

An office bully or any other bully is a very fearful and insecure fellow- Quote:A person becomes a 'target' of a workplace bully because they brought something positive to the workplace that another person feels threatened by, such as skills and education, recognition from a supervisor, or positive interactions with colleagues. In any case, you were 'targeted' because you are the biggest threat to the bully and they will do whatever they can to make your working environment a living hell.

I could get you someone to do the job too, and it will cost you less than Ksh5000 or less. And the Job is done. Yes,and the tree bark was just to prove my false accusations,the ceo was scared but I was smiling inwardly.The informer later was rewarded with a plum job.

Yes,but I was considering planting cocaine in his car and ensure I use my contacts to have him arrested,denied bail,put in the papers and eventually jailed but luckily for him he was sacked.
