Back to the topic.
The best time to buy stocks is;
- when you have that excess money you won't need very soon,
- when you have identified a good stock priced well.
This applies to hobbyist like me, not people who make their daily bread from stocks trading.

Thank you,. We have a politics section and take that dedicated for that

Agree with @dunkang.
Also found that the best time to buy stocks is when no one is talking about them on wazua. All this noise about buses indicates you just might buy at the top

I would like to apologize to @pleasecallme for diverting from his/her topic and hijacking his/her thread...

Three things to look at to know whether to buy!
1. Single digit P/E
2. Dividend yield above 5%
3. Trading below or slightly above book value..

If you see a stock that satisfies at least 2 of the three that's probably the one to buy!

p.s: cheap stocks can continue getting cheaper and vice versa!

excatly. I would add eps higher now than 5 yrs ago and at least 30% growth over the last 3-3yr periods. also a company without much debt .

the dividend criteria is very important, numbers dont lie

The best time for you to buy stocks is when I am selling ;-)

I think interest rates will be rising steadily in the coming months, which will mean large money moving from stocks to bonds.

Best time to buy stocks? Simply follow the trends from 2011-2012.
