i agree we did rights for KPC and we went south yet to recover...Wanjiku UZA haraka ,so is this the way the outgoing CEO wants to get more shares?

Think of the healthier balance sheet (Debt/Equity ratio)...less GoK...think about Horizon 2, 3 projects...put your country 1st dear investors, it's bigger than all of us... *hides* ;-)

GoK with a 70% shareholding means the rights issue is already a success...the unknown is the magnititude of the cash call...I also dont think GoK has the money to take part in a huge cash call considering the huge budget deficit....could be KES10-20 Billion...50-100% dilution...stock will stall but not plunge....S**** the guy who made the information public before the management!....

Dilution should be expected whether it has a large backing or not;what shall happen to future dividends which was ksh 0.5 this past year?
The problem with Kengen is it requires massive infrastructure layout in order to make decent return;whats the turn around time between receiving the cash and finishing the project? thats what makes this a tortoise in comparison to banks

Let me sell and board another stock,here is a rights issue and the further privatisation plan by gvt to upload more shares remains speculation,this share will stall.
