I was shocked to find less than 150 people participated in each of the 1st and runoff votes at Wazua. I was expecting far more than that... I have concluded that the total population of people who visit Wazua frequently including guests could not be more than 500 in total...based on that vote turnout.
I understand... the number of mortgages in Kenya are less than 30,000 at the moment
I could be wrong but I understand the average number of daily papers bought in Kenya are circa 200,000 per day (total of Nation, Standard, Star, People).
Rumour has it that the people who earn a salary of more than 100,000 per month are no more than 80,000 in Kenya.
so what is your estimate of the middle class registered voters?

I guess this number is for employed people only(business people excluded). I think this can be confirmed with KRA... Do you know anyone who can get the correct numbers? (PAYE)

Can't be!!!! 80k? maybe govt employees. A huge population of business pple are middle class n above, that includes outfits as small as exhibition shops that churn out turnover that can shame many "executives". That aside, guru is right. This poll represents the middle class generally. Wazua polls have never been wrong. We all know which group doesn't believe in polls, the one nursing chest trauma caused by blunt objects.
