Tv news are boring lately- are they reporting on issues which are not sync with our kenyan needs? They have displayed open bias and are no longer living up to their calling...I'm I alone in this?

I have got beef with the guy that reads sports news on Ntv.
Why does he narrate sports news the way he does cz it comes out like song.

Better watching Purple and Brown

I once attended an event where a foreign company were launching their operations in Kenya. All major media houses were present, that evening the news concetrated on what the guest of honour a senior politician said, with the only mention of the event being ... he said this while speaking at ABC event...'

Yet this would have been a chance to highlight Kenya's investment opportunities.

@xyzee, we love local siasa. This is part of the reasn why Citizen news which is deep in politics and shallow in everything else, is most popular. Ever noted that citizen have no international news?

@and even whaen they read anything on the Business New on a business venture or new product its just what the PR in that company has circulated to the media houses...nothing much researched..hence no indepth business news whatsoever.
You cant win, unless you first begin....

And this is how the country ends up getting polarized. All we end up thinking and talking about is siasa.

I agree its a business of money...money, otherwise how do you explain when a TV station interviews the so called 'guests' for a whole 30Mins during prime news unless the guest are the news themselves!!
