We can now say heart break occurs when the concept of the 'I' is disestablished, or negated, by someone who was trusted.

That is, it is a disruption of equilibrium without immediate repair, or restoration of equilibrium.

Quantitative I agree.Qualitative I disagree. Lets use the brain. The brain can remain quantitatively the same but the mind can qualitative change. I believe so with the heart,you can reach equilibrium again but you can change the qualitative side of it. How are love and philosophy equal.
