The death we se all around is physical death. Death of the flesh. The body. But the spirit lives on.
Ww don't live to die, just as we don't eat to poo.
It is to the sinners who die both spiritual and physical deaths.
But God always grants spiritual rebirth.

I hope you won't mind removing spirituality from the equation at this point. People have questions about death.I hope wazuans ask. What do you think people fear about death?

Death. I like death. It brings fear in all the hearts of men. But people fear eternity more. It's full of the unknown and if you can't appreciate life eternity seems to be torture. In fact, life is torture. To me death is loss of life and that being said, there are people who are alive but are lifeless.

Well, well, well, eternity. What is eternity? What happens in eternity? What is the connection between life and eternity?

Should we love death because it is the transition point to eternity? You seem to know a lot about what happens after death. Please enlighten us.

@Innovate, Death is the cessation of being.

It is not imperative that Man dies. Man only Kills himself with wickedness and ignorance.

If God didn't kill Cain, why should he kill anyone?

And hence, the moments we are alive we must rid ourselves of wickedness and ignorance of the Laws of the universe!

This is the path to immortality.

Wickedness and ignorance. If I'm not wicked, and I'm not ignorant, do I live forever? Sorry, will I be immortal?

Says who?

Eternity for each individual I believe begins with life.I don't know what happens in eternity but I'm pretty sure if you can't pace yourself in life you will break under the pressure of eternity.I don't know anything about death,I know about life. Wouldn't want to know so much about it because it would spoil the fun of it but what I do is prepare myself to be able to face what could possibly come after death.

What is wickedness?

Yes. If you are not wicked and are cognizant of the Laws you shall be immortal.

First, says the books of the laws.

Second, It follows logically from the premise.

It's disobedience to God.
We are all born sinners.Only by grace are we set free from the bondage of sin.
Grace is God's unmerited favour which you get served with once you take a walk to the cross.
It's called redemption.

How can you avoid sin?
By resisting temptation, fleeing all appearances of evil, and keeping strong through reading the word.
But temptations must surely come. Falling into one doesn't signify the end of one's relationship with God.
That's when Grace comes in handy because you have all the right as a son to ask God for 4giveness and then u carry on.
Rem,the christian walk is not all halleluhya and tukutendereza. It's falling and rising, being weak and strong.
But sio uzoee.Sin has consequences so in as much as God forgives we are at times left with scars of our sins.

Thats another reason I'm not so worried about death.God is loving and graceful otherwise if he was not,we'd all be in hell now.I believe you keep yourself from sin when you don't intend to sin.Its a battle.

Looks like it's not just innovateguy who is seeking answers about death. Here is some quasi religious scientific theory from some scientists.

It's up to you to decide if you believe them or not. Personally i don't know what to think about all this stuff.

A QUANTUM THEORY OF CONSCIOUSNESS:
A PAIR of world-renowned quantum scientists say they can prove the existence of the soul.

American Dr Stuart Hameroff and British physicist Sir Roger Penrose developed a quantum theory of consciousness asserting that our souls are contained inside structures called microtubules which live within our brain cells.

Their idea stems from the notion of the brain as a biological computer, "with 100 billion neurons and their axonal firings and synaptic connections acting as information networks".

Dr Hameroff, Professor Emeritus at the Departments of Anesthesiology and Psychology and Director of the Centre of Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona, and Sir Roger have been working on the theory since 1996.

They argue that our experience of consciousness is the result of quantum gravity effects inside these microtubules - a process they call orchestrated objective reduction (Orch-OR).

In a near-death experience the microtubules lose their quantum state but the information within them is not destroyed. Or in layman's terms, the soul does not die but returns to the universe.

Dr Hameroff explained the theory at length in the Morgan Freeman-narrated documentary "Through the Wormhole", which was recently aired in the US by the Science Channel.

The quantum soul theory is now trending worldwide, thanks to stories published this week by The Huffington Post and the Daily Mail, which have generated thousands of readers comments and social media shares.

"Let's say the heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing, the microtubules lose their quantum state," Dr Hameroff said.

"The quantum information within the microtubules is not destroyed, it can't be destroyed, it just distributes and dissipates to the universe at large.

"If the patient is resuscitated, revived, this quantum information can go back into the microtubules and the patient says 'I had a near death experience'."

In the event of the patient's death, it was "possible that this quantum information can exist outside the body indefinitely - as a soul".

Dr Hameroff believes new findings about the role quantum physics plays in biological processes, such as the navigation of birds, adds weight to the theory.

I will start by saying that the human mind is too inquisitive for its own good, people here are arguing with formed mindsets advancing working hypothesis they ascribe to hence if we were to take out the formed minds and the working hypothesis from the equation of human life, it would be evidently clear that humanity was made to EAT, we live to eat and when our bodily functions and external factors can no longer facilitate eating we die, what happens from there is grey
