You discovered very old and totally wrong. the men who comment on how women anre't dressed decently have been overpowered by women (wives, daughters, sisters, mboches etc) at home who dress with unrestrained abandon.

They feel bad about it and this is the only way to vent. Give them a shoulder to lean on. be not dissing brothers like that.

On Second thoughts that is not a church. I think it is a party scene. On the first photo there is plate and a transparent plastic cup thing under the chair and a brown bottle. Eating and drinking has been going on here. On the second photo, its more of a typical social event. I cannot be proved wrong. So I must be correct!

Could it be that they were coming from K street, and realised that if they went to change the service would be over by the time they returned?

Someone's already gone to court to challenge that dress code.

And that is no one's Church. And we can never agree on what is decent / indecent so if you want to cover up, go ahead. If you think someone should cover up, stop gawking - look elsewhere.

All true.
My beef is with @alma. According to him, if you comment on indecent dressing by women (the indecent being your own opinion), then you are a pervert. That is a very broad insult and I detest it. There are different sort of clothes for different places and different occasions. I should not be vilified for that belief. May be the pictures are misleading, but supposing that really was a church, I would object to that extent of baring of skin even if I wouldn't say anything out loud. My litmus test is simple - if I cannot present a woman in that state of dress to my parents and elders, that state of dress is wrong for a place like a church. And that is my considered opinion and I will stick to it.

That conclusion that when men question some kind of dressing then he must be a pevert was in bad and uncalled for......it's better to continue with discourse while being civil!!!

I'll stick to my initial statement coz its true.

I'll change it when one brings empirical evidence on the status of a woman's or man's dressing increasing or decreasing their morality quotient.

I don't want to judge your parents, but I don't think that your parents or my parents ideas of decency or lack of it can be used to judge other person's standards of decency and morality.

If I was to base the morality of any woman in 2013 based on what my grand father considered decent, then I would expect that my daughters are all circumcised and wear very large rings in their ears to make them decent and beautiful.

I've always find this all the time. Tell me if you haven't seen it.

A woman who is dressed "decently" passes a man who just won't take his eyes of her. The pass each other and the man continues staring. When you make contact with this fellow, he notices you've seen him gawking and he then proceeds to shake his head and gives a clicking noise with his tongue. All the while he hasn't stopped looking at the woman.

The problem is not the woman. The problem is you the man who can be easily affected by the dressing or appearance of a woman. Shauri yako!
