Rank: Member Joined: 10/29/2008 Posts: 23		I saw in the papers recently an advert by KQ saying they had a special offer for a trip to dubai for the 7's Rugby game. It's supposed to cost $299+$130 in taxes....total is $430. However,I was at Barclays Plaza ticketing office two days ago and I spoke to a lady who told me that for that Return trip Dec 2 to Dec 7th I would have to pay $586...a difference of about $156. Is it miscommunication or I'm I missing something here? SK fraternity kindly advise!

Rank: Elder Joined: 5/27/2008 Posts: 3,760		I attended Dubai Sevens in 2005 and would advise that you look for a package that includes tickets,transfers to the venue,accomodation and visas. The marginal costs above the KQ figures will be negligible. Also,Emirates offer better deals - and planes.

Rank: Member Joined: 9/6/2007 Posts: 132		The clause on terms and conditions by these adverts is really misused .The price they give is not tax Inclusive.Air Arabia had a similar advert on offers to Dubai they wre quoting 10k kumbe this was one way exclusive of tax after tax a return ticket goes for 35k visa not included and they had shamelessly advertised 10k jnn

Even Virgin offered a complete package and very reasonable rates to London 7s. a complete package that includes match tickets,airport transfers and luxurious hotel accommodation - normally offered by emirates - is much better prospect,than having to arrive in Dubai and start hassling for match tickets,taxis and all. And emirates package get you to Dubai 4 star beach hotels - normally costing upwards of $300 per night BB - and offering much much better service and comfort than our own five star hotels. KQ ought to be a little generous in their sponsorship and offer a package that will get more Kenyan supporters to Dubai.
