i guess it means you can hate loving someone like you love someone and all they bring you is pain so u hate loving them and might resent them but you still love them while hating your love for them~!!!

Science tells us that HATE and LOVE do activate some similar parts of the brain-
Quote:
It often seems a thin line between love and hate, and now scientists think they know why. Brain scans of people shown images of individuals they hated revealed a pattern of brain activity that partly occurs in areas also activated by romantic love, Semir Zeki and John Paul Romaya of University College London reported on Wednesday…. The brain activity also occurred in the putamen and insula, two areas activated when people viewed the face of a loved person. Scientists have linked the regions to aggressive action and distressing situations, Zeki said.

You cannot truly hate someone or something u don't have the capacity to love. Actually the opposite of love is indifference and not hate. When u are indifferent u don't care and u don't think of someone or something much of the times. When u hate someone u are almost always constantly thinking of him even if to just find fault, though the passion here is negative as opposed to love. I have heard people say that hate is love turned upside down.

the opposite of love is not that. its selfishness.

Ok. I thought it was apathy.

There in lies the tragedy. It is in our houses, our work places, our land and Virtual Republic but we do not perceive its danger.

Only when it hits us with its fruit do we moan at the pain and loss it imposes on us.

The fruits of hate are what it makes us do. The man in your signature must have practiced long and hard to remove his shoes, take aim and throw his shoe(s) over fifty meters. Dubia ducked, twice but the thrower's accuracy was dead on.

Think of the innovation driven by hate. The fabled intelligence agencies of Obamaland would not in their wildest imagination perceived of shoe missiles.

Yes, haters may want to exercise alot of judgement in calculating moves to harm, injure or otherwise exact revenge and that's why hate is different from love in that one respect- the lover is often less critical and judgemental regarding the loved person. This, despite the two being the same by having the potential of becoming 'all consuming passions'.

What happened to the shoe thrower after that?
