Gathige wrote:@brayokasa4. Congrats on your water project. Never cut corners with water- it will always find its way! If i were you, i would go for the know names for the pump- Davis&Shirtliff, Kirloskar(Sp not sure). The tower is worse coz if it is not well done, it will come down with a great thunder !Get a good steelfabricator to design one and have it properly mounted.
My 2 cents
All the best
Thank you @Gathige. I actually have previous experience with drilling a borehole and equipping it with a submersible pump and it has stayed for like 4 years without a hitch. The only problem is that the guy who supplied me the pump at the time relocated to another company and I cant find him. I got some quotes from Davis & Shirtliff at the time and they were ridiculously expensive . Talk about a quote for 800k and I ended up getting a pump at 200k which has served me well. Not too sure about Kirloskar (sp) buts its worth checking out. I am thinking of either putting a concrete water tower or a steel one, but I haven't settled on one yet. Thanks for the advice though.
If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!
