A long time ago in Athens, there was a guy named Socrates who used to talk like Tycho talks now. He was accused of among other crimes importing strange divinities of his own (think man god)and corrupting the young (think confusing essyk and the rest of us by not giving straight simple answers). He was found guilty and was sentenced to die by poisoning. He was given the poison in a cup and he drank it willingly and joyfully. I have a feeling he thought he could not die but he did.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly .Oh no.
We don't want this to happen to Tycho even though I don't understand what he says 98% of the time.

d'oh! So, is this lust or love?

When she has taken a few glasses of wine and then tells you 'hit it, kind sir' ...though probably not in those words Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly ...and you reply, 'when you are sober dear'. That is love. Lust is when you go right ahead.

You can consider 'average feeling' per events or per time.

You can also look at your neurological activity per time, event, etc.

You can definitely have a measure.

@ChessMaster, @Tycho, did (do) your father and mother love one another.

Do you and your significant other love one another?

When? You need to specify the time.

Or you want last years average? It will not be helpful at all.

But I called her a while ago. And yes, I felt good, and her voice was soothing and full of cheer. So latest data shows presence of love.

Hehehe! I don't know how our next encounter will be like though. She has a free mind, you know!

And I am just learning about unconditional love!

Yes. I learnt acceptance from them. No I don't have a significant other,I'm not the kind of person people easily accept.

Its simpler. Have fewer issues with people and I'm happy. Its always easier to be yourself when you are not worried about how other people see you.

I know what you mean.
I am not a crowd person either in real life.
But you what? It's a deliberate choice because I got tired of following other people's opinions and finding myself living their dreamsand getting tired in the long run.
I tend to function better alone because I learnt responsibility very early in life so I am a do it yourself kind of person.
Kinda weird but my strength fades and I become paralysed when I get many people involved in my life.Infact I get very confused and silly.

But I am not a loner because I network, adapt easy and get along with people in my circle.

Can I ask what the question was? Also been there. Used to be an outgoing person. Slowly I started seeing other sides of people and the reality shocked me. I have no issue with others or helping them but the way the world is,people have become objects. I have an issue with that. There is no connection anymore, there is just "what can you offer me".Its mostly what can I gain from you or what will you cost me.

sorry I meant 'But you know what'

Ok.Well lets just say that you woke up to reality.
Many people do things blindly to please the crowd and spend so much effort and energy doing so, while achieving little.
Life imho,is about realising one's potential.
Anything short of that, is a waste of space and oxygen.
So if being a loner is one way of helping you achieve that, then well and good.God is happy.
Who are we to judge?
