My target is higher than that and since i cant predict the market or a share for that matter, i decided not to sell. For eg. if you sold at 14.00, how do you know when to buy again? you dont know how low it will go and for how lonng, and you may even end up buying into the next rally at a higher price, so unless i wanted to divest completely(which i did not) it would have been a bad idea. In the long run the company will attain its correct valuation, way more than the 14.00 that printed. Speculation is so sweet, but its outcome is eventually painful Ditto. I'm also here for the long haul. If anything this correction is opportunity to add. I hope price will be accomodating when I liquidate my $

Some are try to average down this stock. But it may just be time to cut down losses. Sentimentalism on this counter is counterproductive.

For those of us who bought at 9 we are still in the green, i wouldnt mind it coming back for a reload. The concluded rally was a sign of things to come The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Or when im 100% up, whichever comes first. according to my estimation, 2-3 years, especially when the new projects come on board... everyone will be rushing to buy this stock. The more i think of it, it a hold for even longer coz of the increase of power projects in the coming years The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

@F0siemo. Really a bank account? Interest rates of 5-7% per annum , versus a stock making say 20-30% per annum . please watch what you say, so that people dont stop taking you seriously. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Those 20-30% projections rarely materialize.

Those 20-30% projections rarely materialize. You are joking....we do 50-100% here...stick around and learn...btwn KenGen dividend yield is more than Av savings rate out there...so just through the dividends you beat a savings account...do you think that way?

@Aguy, don't tell me you have been taking seriously a person who registers 3 wazua profiles (FOsiemo, jandrea and sisqo), and is claiming CIC is the 3rd biggest stock in terms of Market Capitalization. Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi
