I'd advice to look at past trends ie KCB and Safcom before making an emotional decision that you'll regret.

What do you mean?

@mibbz - I believe there are always shares people irrationally neglect because of past events then when seeking opportunities they come back to them. For me Kengen was one of them.

I'll ask the same question again, how would the pump and dump work without being able to predict what people will do tomorrow? For me looking at Kengen and Scangroup, the supply is ridiculous. People are cashing out.Wouldn't you?

Some predict the market will move in a particular way, others make the market move the way they want it to move:

1-A simple lesson on how to do this is found here http://stocks.about.com/...pulate-Stock-Prices.htm

2-The usual ways of doing it are found here http://voices.yahoo.com/...egal-8872877.html?cat=3

3-And, this is how you spot it http://timelesswealth.ne...stock_manipulation.html

A director selling a stock is usually a bad sign. A sharp increase in a stock price with low volume is an attempt to lure the inexperienced eg. Express Kenya last Friday jumped from 3.15 to 3.55 after someone bought 100 shares. Why would you buy 100 shares in Express?.

The problem with stock manipulation is that the players are too many and the outcome is unpredictable. A lot of people get burnt trying to manipulate the market

How is CiC cheap when price/book is 2. means you are paying double for what its really worth, furthermore insurance companies historically trade at low P/B ratios unlike banks
