Is there any wazuan who had bought land in this estate through the JKUAT Housing...

This estate was part and parcel of the same case with Tatu city and there was a final hearing on 12th and 13th as seen earlier in the DN paper.

anyone with any info on what has become of this Karangaita estate story!!!!

@ Hobbit

Is it true it was part of the Tatu City ? That i didnt know. What was the crux of the matter?

Well, its been close to 3 years since i bought and the wait has been long.

Was JKUAT to do some amenities there eg roads, power, water etc.

If so, then we could be looking at a hefty price appreciation given the price we got in at.

@Kirika. It was part of Tatu city in that Both Karangaita and Soscinaf (Tatu) farms belonged to the Steven Mwaiguru family. Hope they resolve fast..

@Hobbit

Spoke to the office a few ago. they were waiting for the outcome of this case, whose Judgement I think is in their favor. I expect all should be well now..

The High Court ruled on Friday that the investors should go ahead and develop the land.

What i wonder is whether JKUAT will move with speed to transfer the land to us, given that they had already started doing the demarcation.

This is a gold mine if JKUAT go ahead and do the amenities.

Good news. The 702 acres were handed over to the university recently.

RINK

Anyone knows about the next step for those who bought.

Lovely !!

We have waited for so long to have this ended amicably and I now hope there will be no more court issues.

The next step will be completing the demarcation, then the balloting, allotment and finally transfer of title deeds if i'm not wrong.

Cant wait to develop my few pieces there !!

They are in the process of registering the land and changing ownership to their (JKUAT) Name. Were also waiting for rain to Subside, to start clearing the bushes and do subdivision.
