Centum's CEO James Mworia Appointed as a Member of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) http://www.centum.co.ke/news/33...ate-governance-committee

.... this man is on record for blatantly abusing the CMA rules that CMA has appointed him to guard .... #SMH

After working hard to restore investor confident, they must have figured out that they got a lot of it and its time to erode a bit of it
If you don't want to go to plan B have a good plan A.

Interesting goings-on at CMA. I see the acting CEO is very hungry to be confirmed, perhaps as happened with Stella Kilonzo. Is he related in any way to former head of civil service?

I see James Mworia was only appointed to the newly formed Corporate Governance Committee which has representatives from NSE, Ethics Institute, UON Business School etc. James Mworia represents listed companies which is okay.

Owners of public listed companies will know how much those running their firms are paid if the Capital Markets Authority’s newly-published disclosure proposals become law.
