The Dreamliner has had issues even in USA. What a disastrous start for the 787

I heard them (I forget who) say the other day that the jet's problems are being magnified because of the hitches experienced during development. Guess Boeing crammed way too much bleeding-edge technology in the damn thing.

I doubt it will have any impact on KQ business considering KQ has ordered about 8 or so Embraer from Brazil (though I have always doubted how safe these are)

thought the embraer jets were to fly local & regional routes with the dreamliners doing the long haul flights in which case it means should there be a delay in delivery, their plans for those long distance routes will be disrupted adversely

they can continue to use what they are using now, either way the smoke in the cockpit of the new boeings will still disrupt the plans

KQ made an order for about 8 dreamliners,definately there will be a delay on the orders considering the setbacks dreamliner is facing.
