Reminds me of a colleague who said after spending so much @ Java, Galitos n the like, the moment she becomes Mrs so n so she shud just be told, " sijawahi kuskia mtu amekufa coz of kula sukuma wiki."
May be this yr these ladies should be given less publicity ama?

The Nairobi woman earns a salary of 10k yet stays in a bungalow worth 40k... . Jibu ni hii Ok here's the story. She's cute and with a warm smile, soothing voice, great legs popping from under her skirt suit, the works. So over time we have been chatting whenever I go to the bank, she lights up when she sees me, calls be by first name then attends to my issues. In fact once I had issues with online banking and she gave me her personal number to contact her in case the IT dudes failed to sort my problem, but out of professional courtesy i have not used it to ask her out for coffee. Now I have been watching her ring finger just to make sure the coast is clear and this is where the problem lies. A ring keeps popping up then disappearing. It's been missing for a while. It's not the plain wedding rings but a fancy ring but on the ring finger. So two days ago I walk into the bank, the first time this new year, and I tell myself I have to push the envelope. Game plan: Light up when you see her, walk over, wish her a happy new year and ask her out for coffee to usher in the new year. When I saw her, i lit up kama ngulobu walked over to her desk said hi then her phone rings and she stretches out her left hand to pick it up and the fancy ring is on the damn ring finger! If a female gyno treated me exceptionally well, I'd write a thank you note to my father and mother. Your account is very healthy. This is fodder for either 'Worst money mistake' or 'Is heaven real' or at best 'Wazua help me plan my wedding'

It is the 'silly' and fake Nairobi men to blame. otherwise what do you want us gals to do when you can spend 5-10k in a night just drinking. sane, not really. even if i don't enjoy, another gal will so let one of us enjoy will it lasts before you are so so dumped! Most of them take drinking to be a lifestyle. I don't drink, it pisses me as few are eligible for dating. There is one i dated only to realize she takes alcohol too late. I had to swallow my pride and buy for her, but i decided i would be confirming before. At my work place there are more ladies than men, but guess what? There are more men who are teatotalers than ladies. How ladies who had not taken alcohol in their lives suddenly start taking it in Nairobi amazes me. Could it be peer pressure or what? Where else can the 'man of means' meet a girl, save in a place with food and wine? To expect her to take the food and avoid the wine, is like expecting her not to look at the money you are showing and love you for 'who you are'.
