The middle class is crying about lost comforts, the ruling elite for loss of control, and the underclass, for promises it may never see fulfilled.

In short, there's no one to cry to. Maybe God.

Hehehehe! Naomba Mungu aingilie kati.

All of a sudden the words 'God' and 'government' acquire new meaning.

'God' becomes a basic understanding of relationships and outcomes of these relationships within a system/ecosystem.

And 'government', a compliance to these rules, and the homeostatic task of maintaining relations in the ideal and original state.

That is, essentially, everyone is supposed to flourish. This is the essence of conservatism, and revolution.

When u say everyone has to flourish, do u mean the ruling elite should continue enjoying power, the middle class continue being comfortable and the underclass continue dreaming of promises? That way the system would be perfect and everyone would be at his/her rightful place in the scheme of things. And maybe that's what God intended it to be like in the first place.

To flourish is to receive what you need, to appreciate what you receive as fair, and to give back something needed into the system/ecosystem.

Flourishing is thus a function of how well we comprehend the system, so that we can live satisfactory lives.

If the system is in harmony there can't be class consciousness. In fact, class distinction is no longer viable.

How would a perfect and harmonious system be with regard to everyone and where would classes end? Please enlighten me.

Reminds me of Shakespeare's 'Cariolanus'. Which body part or organ is inferior to the other?

Classes and disharmony disappear the moment we become conscious of the fact that life is a 'network' of systems/ecosystems.

And that we shouldn't confuse symbols for objects. For example, popular vote is a symbol for legitimacy, but legitimacy itself is adherence to 'functional' laws. And if laws are no longer 'functional' then a change of paradigm is required.
