Not all is well. CBK is fighting hard to keep the Shilling below 87 against the greenback. Theyre selling reserves remember what happened the last time reserves went below the minimum limit!

hisah, former chairman had said dividends would go up by 40 percent. Now, if they were to hit that...

@the deal its almost time for a break out on the USD vs kes because i can't see the CBK holding out much longer especially with the increasing pressure from their own monetary policy actions!

Bullish hoof still pressing the pedal. However this tide is not floating all crap smile

I'm loving this. Really looking good to the eyessmile
I think of all the stocks above,as far as PE goes,Simba still has energy for some more safari!

If you were to substitute EABL with simba, at the current trailing P/E of 22.21, simba would be trading @82.50/-

With est EPS of 4.10 on the same P/E the scale tips to 91/-

Indeed EABL is overvalued!

I still expect simba to clock 40/- plus a div pay of 2 - 2.10/-

Great comparison @Hisah.
Sitting pretty heresmile

To even out the rate cuts, USD rate will scale to 90. The worry is how to cap inflation from spiking as well as the current account. Too much market intervention is not good and sends wrong signals. Hope this time CBK has learned.

I see. After reviewing the Q3 2012 results it's very likely a div pay of 2.50/- will be paid out.

If the share prints 40/- with a div pay of 2.50/- the div yield will be 6.25%. Still good smile

Do tell, what are the prospects here. what do you see friend
I get more interested in stocks when they are down than when they are rallying to the stratosphere.
