Good news for Kenyan fruit production. It's time for fruit producers in other African countries to pick up the slack & increase production while the SA fruit & wine production suffers!

he did not get it wrong because he did not do the examination(investing in stocks)

Its only 8th of January.. markets open for just a few days and people are already talking of others getting it wrong?

With this type of haste.. i'd bet on stockmaster against the two of you for this year's ballon d'stock

Dear brother Maka. Look at KCB shuttling into the stratosphere. I forsee KES 35 in next few weeks. Elections will not water down investor appetite for this stock in particular. Hio dividend itashikilia price juu, na ikishuka hadi 25 hivi, nitauza hata nyumba na walio ndani ili ninunue KCB!

...its really confusing, you get in now then later you realise you bought at a high and made a terrible mistake, you fail to get in now,you sit and watch as stocks edge even higher...there was all the time to buy the likes of scom at btwn 3 - 3.35 sometime last year,if that opportunity passed you,i think its wise to just wait and be patient...

Both extremes are high now. Either swinging high or low. It's a matter of choice & that's what makes the market. Choose your alliance Comrades!

The NSE all index may touch 100 today.

For all who may have forgotten or got into NSE 2-3 years ago, this was the position we were on 01.01.2008 before we took a deep dive southwards for two reasons (i) global recession and (ii) PEV.

So far the year has started well but i lag both NSE20 & NSE ALL since i do not have safaricom on my portfolio.

Flexible e-ink displays are one thing, but an actual working tablet that’s as thin as a sheet of paper – that’s impressive. And that’s exactly what the Papertab is.

Developed by researchers at Queen’s University, Canada, the Papertab is a fully interactive touch-sensitive 10.7-inch sheet of plastic able to display documents, images, videos and the like.

Bending the corner up or down allows you to “turn” pages back and forward, which is nice, but perhaps more interesting is the idea of combining multiple Papertabs (ten and upwards), with each showing different documents or running different apps. The Papertabs are designed to keep track of their location relative to other Papertabs, so you can show larger images by putting one next to another and having the image display across both. Take a look at the video below to see it in action.
