Btw this M-shwari story is very interesting - http://www.safaricom.co....loads/m-shwari_info.pdf

I expect the Faulu case to be thrown out very soon. The amount of deposits amassed in a month by this mpesa bank product is shocking to say the least.

@Mukiri this stock has rallied from 2.80bob back to its IPO price in 2012... Time for it to take a breather!

Unless the market P/E goes up i don't see safcon rallying beyond here.. (market P/E likely to go up if elections go smoothly)

...you said 5.05...we are a t 5.45.

This counter is overextended at these levels above 5/-. If it prints 6/- take profits.

Frankly I never expected Mpesa bank to hit above 5/- in 2012. Today it hit a high of 5.45 with mean supply. This counter may stretch up to 5.80/- at which level I'll cash out 50% and pack that cash for another opportunity. Above 5/- this counter is overextended and I don't see the support for it unless PBT can print above 22B come May 2013 with a div hike to 25cts. If this is achieved, the 6/- handle will be vaulted.

Ya, early last i had stated that safcom will be dancing between 5-6/- by year end, and i was told am too ambitious.

Sad You need atleast a laptop and modem, when you take a break. If my dealer hasn't effected my sale order @5.40, I'll revise it to 5.80 tomorrow.

At what price will you sell if you buy at KES5.80? Buy Coop Bank, CFC Insurance or KenGen tomorrow instead of SCOM.

@the deal...if his research tells him there is good value for Safcom at 5.40 or even 5.80 let him go ahead and buy.Sometimes the school of hard knocks offers the best learning experience.

You have not had dinner, I can tell. Sale order and Buy order will never be the same. With all this noise about Kengen, I might just add more shares.

@deal, are the 3 shares your portfolio? Please share

Transactions on the latest mobile banking innovation, M-Shwari, crossed the Sh1 billion mark at the close of last year in an overwhelming uptake that could force local banks back to the drawing board.
