When you know Computers inside out.

MAGIC #1
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as 'CON'. This is something pretty
cool....and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened! My laptop tells me it is a reserved name.

TRY IT NOW,IT WILL NOT CREATE 'CON' FOLDER
MAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows,do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type 'Bush hid the facts' (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it,and re-open it.

Is it just a really weird bug? Confused?
MAGIC #3
microsoft crazy facts. This is something pretty cool and neat...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened! It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself...Open new Microsoft Word document and type (with proper spacing) =rand (200,99)
And then press ENTER

Some deals are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

1) Its true that you cant create a folder called CON in windows but here, the explanation! CON is a reserved system command in Windows DOS. The same way you cant create a folder named LPT1,AUX,PRN,COM1 etc

2) On the notepad thing, again you are very right. Its a known bug but i cant pretend to have an explanation though i can add a thing. My lecturer called it 4-3-3-5 bug. In fact it works with ANY 4 words with 4,3,3 and 5 alphabets.

3)=rand() BTW you don have to input the number value inside the parentheses,it will work as well.Methink it has to do with the fact that =RAND() is a Function in Excel used to generate number randomly. How it work in Ms Word, again I cant tell

Your perceived potential, whether real, down played or inflated, becomes the yard stick of your achievement/failure. If you perceive yourself a genius,a score of 80% is fail while 120% is pass. If you perceive yourself a failure,a score of 60% is a sign that you are a genius although you had not realized so.

No hard fellings. But this Japanese friend of mine told me this...........

Social behavior of most grown-up Africans (including me) towards machines is like that of spoiled, bloodthirsty children. When their expensive toys brake—invariably through their own fault—the children throw temper tantrums, blaming the toy-maker’s deceit and bad faith or lack of skill.

Sounds familiar?

In life, you have only two choices,

either to be an agent of destiny

or a victim of destiny.

The choice can be effected by choosing

- * Not to act,in which case you choose not to know and become a victim of destiny Or

- * Act and become an agent of destiny.
