can someone please advise me on how much one should pay a land broker for facilitating land transaction

It depends on whether you are buying or selling. If selling,generally the broker demands more. Registered agents normally charge you up to 3% of the value of the transaction if you are the seller. On the ground,we normally negotiate with the brokers coz most of them are not registered. I have never paid one beyond 50k even if the transaction is worth several millions. Agree with the broker at 'arms length'
