There is no way it can be night time in US, Australia and Africa at the same time. Its disturbing that you sit in front of a computer and don't get it. your most important contribution to support your conspiracy theory is that the world is round. The photos can be taken at different times then put together. I thought it was pretty obvious...but then again.... @Tycho, the photo shows lit areas at night, nothing to do with global warming...get with the program BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

You can even pick out major cities like Durban, Sao Paolo etc etc. The whole of Japan is well lit. Even the midwest USA and the Himalayas are not lit so I don't know what guys are talking about - the photo is largely correct BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

And this photo is a piece of evidence to show that we indeed contribute little to these issues. What issue(s) leads to the signing of green agreements? I don't understand how this photo is about 'simply lighting': please help!

I don't understand how this photo is about 'simply lighting': please help! this has nothing to do with lighting. it has everything to do with systems that have been rigged against us. Fossil fuels (coal, gas, oil) constitute the largest source of energy for the developing world. http://en.wikipedia.org/...orld_energy_consumption
here is my point.... WE NEED TO USE OUR SHARE OF THE RESOURCES FIRST....THEN WE CAN SIGN THESE THINGS LATER. The truth is the West will never jeopardize their development just because the rest of the world wants them to. If you want the African continent lit up like others - let's exploit the resources others have exploited to get them to where they are bila hiyo.... the night view of the planet will continue showing the fact that we are indeed 'the dark continent', stupid enough to sign and ratify laws that disadvantage us. @masukuma, since yesterday I have been asking myself the following questions; is it good to have an earth that is brightly lit at night? And why is it good?

that is a pertinent question... the current energy usage is unsustainable however its not us to 'cut down' but rather others. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
