haiya, 8/-, here we come.

But seriously, KK, KCB and HFCK fans have a major problem. Too much reliance on financial analysis (which is done from cooked results and figures).

Maybe puma want to enter silently through the NSE and buy out the wanjikus and be left to negotiate with big boys later. Maybe.

In other news, total (k) opened its newest baby on Monday.

Dumped KK at 16.25, dumped KCB at 23, the only monkey currently (big m*********ing ape) in my portfolio is KQ, average price 44.

I define monkeys as overvalued companies with no hope of rising in the short term.. As of today at 15bob KK is a monkey

2. Professional investors don't base their investment decisions on a newspaper report quoting a so called Senior manager

Trust me it wasn't the senior manager that did it! it was the evasive comments from the KK and PUMA spokespersons that sealed the deal!

3. Puma pulling out cause of the KES4Bn loss? Nonsense...the loss was public knowledge to them before they made a bid.

COMPLETE LIES! Puma made its bid in April and KKs half year ends on 30th June.. how did PUMA know about the loss before they put in the bid??

4. The KK you used to cheer religiously will come back stronger with or without Puma Energy

I do not ever marry stocks since i already have a wonderful fiance! smile
KK may not come out stronger as price controls, low margins and high finance costs continue to bite!

5. Puma Energy pulling out is not the end of the world, such things have happened before...it could be a good thing in disguise. You need to look at Nedbank post the HSBC pull out!

i did not say it was the end of the world for KK.. I simply said that now KKs share price will fall to its correct valuation at below 10bob! I do firmly believe that every stock becomes cheap at a certain price!!

Its not right to compare apples with oranges!

The roller-coaster, the volatility wild swings, the ulcers centrals... It's called the oil M&A syndrome...

Please, please sell on Thursday at cheap, cheaper prices! As a Warren Buffett fan... I love doom & gloom about good well-run firms. Sure they made a KES 4bn hedging loss when the KES was very volatile... but it remains the best run major OMC in Kenya.

Only buy something that you'd be perfectly happy to hold if the market shut down for 10 years.

I may buy when the dividend yield is above 10%

Grin Laughing out loudly I will be buying way before that! 9.9% Div Yield... I expect a zero dividend for 2012 [cash preservation] if Puma does not come through. That is not a bad thing either. Berkshire Hathaway [Warren Buffett] has not paid a dividend ever.

Of course, eventually the payoff is dividends or a sale [cash inflow].

Excruciatingly slow 'justice' system seems hellbent on scuppering business. It amounts to economic sabotage.
