@ChessMaster, thank you for asking me this question. For you have given me the energy to search and test myself in a way that I'd perhaps not do out of my own prompting.
In my early twenties, I managed to create a philosophical, psychological, and theological model that I called 'Signostentialism'. 'Signo' for 'significance' and the other part of the word comes from 'existentialism'.
The term 'significance' was used when I moved from the theological idea of 'analogia entis' which generally posits that there's an analogy of entity between Man and God, to what I termed as 'analogia determinationis' that is, an analogy of determination, as in the existentialist sense of determining meaning or significance out of experience in a never ending dialogue between Man and God.
This model was(is) also uses the rational function of Man operating in the rational function of God which is the denominator of a higher degree that stretches to infinity.
So the result is a sum of partial fractions of 'cognitive' significance that stretch to infinity.
So psychoanalysis is a partial fraction that is true only up to it's limit, i.e. it's consciousness. For example, psychoanalysis regards childhood in a manner that may fail to realize that birth implies death. So it will speak of 'subconscious drives' but when you consider other partial fractions, you get the idea of 'homeostatic' adjustment of the 'Self' or 'Soul' with respect to integrity and unity of Mind, Body, and Spirit.
Psychoanalysis limits the mind to the Social norm, and attempts to harness an individual's existence to what is defined from without, hence it must always create illness. I think this is where psychiatry comes in with the attempt to cure illnesses by using drugs to enforce equilibrium of Mind, Body, and Spirit.
The Signostentialist model can approach illness from any of the three components of the Self, and seeks to understand any partial fraction within its limits and uses it to extend into other partial fractions.
Consequently, Signostentialism is a politeconomic model that moves towards perfect information and communication systems that can utilize ICT to create and use infinite resources and establish harmony and justice to all.
