@Marty is doing a commendable job enlightening readers on The Power of Financial Education thread. Can the Wazua Financial Gurus give tips on interpreting the financial statements? Understanding Co. values? Screening out 'cooking' and exaggerated 'future outlooks' etc FACT: Most people just read the PAT and Dividend part. Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

I sometimes get confused on terminologies used, how to decipher and how to apply them.

Are you saying that we should disrespect our mothers? Invest in good books on money mgt and stocks then ask specific questions "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. Mukiri wrote:'Can the ..... ' Unless your mother is here, I'd advice you to use 'Please .....' A little politeness goes a long way. @Mukiri, Please, Please, Please However, the context is very polite: 1. Class 101 signifies humble admission to being a Wanjiku. 2.The intro is a tribute to @Marty (and all Wazuans). 3. 'Can' here is used as a request as opposed to a command. Remember 'can' allows for a YES or NO answer. 4. Are you aware of the wazua spirit? 5. You state that a little politeness goes a long way then adds 'unless your mother... Wonder how polite that is. 6. In your own words, "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established, through knowledge its rooms are filled..." Wazua is the house!. But then again, Please, Please Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.
