One cannot find love if he/she is only intent on receiving it. When we talk about what we like, what we do, how we dress and the like, we are just pointing out what we need.
And one cannot emphasize on his needs and allow an other to be. For the other also has needs or desires!
The problem here is that of Narcissus, and unless our friend stops being in love with his image, he will inevitably drown in the river of time.
P.s. This is advice to myself, I am just thinking aloud.
