That is exactly the problem. I think Top Gear summarised it very well 'nose-heavy weight distribution and long wheelbase gives it the alacrity of a goods train'.

Also true. That is why you will hardly find 1.5L saloon German/European cars. Most 1.5's are hatchbacks, and they are not many. Toyota seem to have realised that now that's why there are very few (if any) 1.5L Premios (new shape) and Allions!
I've been looking for an Audi A4 1.9L TDi and mpaka I've given up. JkMwatha offered to assist, but I've not gotten around to organising myself yet.
