A very big blow for the Company.

Wacha aende. We need fresh blood with fresh ideas in these companies.

Let him retire, it was never a permanent position. We have other eligible Kenyans too. You complain Muthaura, Nyoike etc are old yet you still want them to remain in office. Kenyans are very strange.

Under his watch he laid the foundation for windpower, increased geothermal, co-generation, nuclear power, birth of GDC etc
He is no michael joseph but he is not naikuni

...nothing exceptional there, all of that was needed, what would have been the point of him being M.D if you cant direct the company he ran into achieving the goals in its strategic plan

I am not crying for him to not retire, everything certainly has an end. I am just acknowledging one of the good guys in a not so good public sector.

He was a damn good MD and leader.

He will be difficult to replace, from the pool of politically correct phsycophants who will be front running for the job

i agree with you Obi this guy was a good MD.Dont argue to much with some folks here who tend to take or look at everything from a certain angle all the time just because his last name is Njoroge. They will never judge a character in kenya as an individual or their contribution to society.their thoughts and judgements are blinded by you know what.

@ITZ, Our difference of opinion on whether Njoroge was a good/average or poor MD should not narrow the discussion to simple thoughts as depicted above... again we question his alleged role in the sh842m, same way we do to MDs and management of KQ, olympia, CMC, AK among others... interest being value for our investments and not blinded by you know what.

Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.
