If Safaricom decides to do a "GTV" on Kenya, what will happen to customers having cash on their M-pesa or M-shwari accounts?

Who can guarantee the customers money? No company is too big to fail. The collapse of the Lehman Brothers is a clear indicator.

In a free market economy regulation and bureaucracy is quite unnecessary, but there is need to put a cap somewhere. Regulators maybe sleeping on their job.

MPESA is virtual money. Monies flowing through the system are held in a trust that is CBK licensed. That money does not pass through Safaricoms bank accounts.
