i think the best is first to buy th car, start loaning it to friends. just make a first step and you will know how to continue from the response of the business. all the best

if one wants only 10 acres of land to lease in Narok,is it possible?

This SK guy 'Moran' is very busy defending TRACK-IT in another thread titled 'fleet management' under 'Pennywise' yet he never cleared his name about the allegations raised by Anndycap below about 'THAMES EXECUTIVE TRAVEL' where he is the proprietor.

Unless the guy is a politician, known for covering up colleagues shiznit. I was once swindled a lot of money by taxi firms I was offended when I saw moran defending an exposed fellow.

Ati,'When it comes to fleet management look no further than TRACK-IT' - Total nonsense

Kanyimwa try to get facts before you make comments. Trackit departure from the car tracking biz is a huge blow to Kenyans and the police but of course Kenyans always celebrate when one is crucified only to learn later the he was a messiah. If u have someone within CID or flying squad ask them which private car tracking company helped reduce carjackings and they will tell you. even those police raid u used to see on TV in Kariobangi on vehicle dismantling cartels were discovered using Track it. Police had no intelligence until a car fitted with their gadget went to be slaughtered.

Trackit has recovered thousands of cars and if you dont beleive me they always quote police OB no where the car loss was reported first angalia back page nation for the last 3 years. Personally i was present when my Rav4 was fished out of a posh residential house in Moshi TZ already with a new colour and TZ numbers. No one had such an extensive network of police contacts like Tejani. I dont know if Tejani was guilty of not fitting some cars or for dishing US $ to KTN reporters what i know is that Firms such as mine are facing a bleak future without trackit and all they should have done is to arrest Tejani and leave the company running. Every month thames issued a cheque of 35,000 4 monthly installment and many other corporates so trackit would have managed to compensate those who were swindled if any. So many investors planning to invest in Kenya am sure will think twice after this issue

Let me ask if today someone found that Equity,Barclays or KCB is playing games with peoples accounts would you close the banks ntwork and cripple millions of Kenyans or would you investigate every case on an individual basis and bring out the findings

First of all Thames uses our own fleet only we no longer take cars apart from 4 cars that have been with us for the last 2 years so whatever scores you are trying to settle wont work. Thames has only cancelled two cotracts of two guys of which one i think is you and it was all about starndards. U see we set the bar high in the indurstry especially when it comes to safety thats why today every Thames car is fitted with a baby safety seat. The first car the owner refused to put good tryes even when the ones he had remained with wires without treads. We insisted he puts new tyres and he refused we cancelled the contract. He was getting 40k for an old 110 after leaving the best he got was 30k from backstreet operators. He came back to us the car already with new tyres we declined thats why he is settling scores. Our cars are serviced well and we fit European starndard tyres like MIchelin and continental for 4WD.

The other one after getting 40,000 for a carina for 8 months payment was on time, for the 9th months was delayed for about 15days he became abusive and when the corporate client finaly paid up we paid his dues and cancelled his contract .You should have seen the car after 9 months of car hire it was so clean mpaka the wife raised hell why he agreed to take it back, his friends car is still with us and he feels bitter we refused to take it back.Last week i saw the car at Lifestyle its a total wreck. His friend tell me he hasnt been paid since jan and the car has had 3 major accidents. He looks back and feels bitter. Sometimes payments may be delayed by coporates who pay 30 days from date of invoice so if u get your cheque on 5th and you get it on 20th thats no reason to raise hell. If its true we conned anyone,no one gives out a car without a contract ANDYCAPP report this matter to the police dont hide behind an online forum

KIKI the bizna is hard but very rewarding. Pls dont buy a saloon car competition is hard from new inexperienced players who quote low. With a 4X4 or a d.cab most reliable companies will help you manage it but dont give it full time if you have reliable info about the company who can take it long term but the possibility of being swindled is high so insist on a P.D cheque from the rental firm so that when the corporate finally pays them and they dont pay,its criminal just take the cheque to to CID. When a guys tells you that gari yakoinaenda kwa conpany X ask them you accompany them, you see the LPO and see them handing over the car to the company if in doubt ask for previous payment vouchers or account statements showing the cheque .Have your lawyer go through the contract before you sign,he may suggest appropriate wording or demand the withdrawal of some clauses if they are genuine the rental co. will accept. Get proper insurance and a tracking device. I ahve an idea if u have 700k import a 3 door new shape RAV4 and you will make recover 700k in 10 months but with foreigners and corporates only

Currently we are not sure where to go but we have mainly corporate clients and foreign clients who have been vetted by our partners car rental firms from abroad but should a carjacking occur our hope now is insurance compenisation only. There are a few companies like cartrack owned by standard group the group that owns KTN but they have little tracking history or results to prove their reliability actually they are less than 6 months old in GPRS but with VLU car track had some fame kitambo then it was wiped out when Trackit landed . Stoic i know they install GPRS just like trackit but recovery again no proven track record plus a tracking firm should be a security firm not get rich quick entrepreneurs. G4S have a GPS/GSM based system very expensive and again without reliable tracking history.

I still have the contract 'vehicle lease agreement' by thames exec car hire, meru south house, third floor, tom mboya street, opp fire station, mobile 0728428333,0729524525,landline 020-3500826,p.o. box. 30550-00100.
You later moved to Embassy house on Harambbe Avenue.
I still have the 3 bounced cheques given to me signed by Moses and given to me by a lady called Violet. They are all Family Bank,Fourway corp branch,Acc:0202000155.
The time i banked the last cheque last year, even the teller on looking at your cheque at family bank told me he doubted if it will clear, his words 'this firm has a very long history of bouncing cheques & that account has been dormant for a long time,id avice you look for this people to give you cash! otherwise if u insist, just deposit, but it wont be paid.'
Thanks for the advice. Yes i will go to the police with those cheques. I had actually forgotten about this issue. Thanks for the reminder.
Think to yourself how do i have so much information & detail on ur firm & even names of your employees, bank details, offices etc.
@Kiki,Kensaf.,Yes the business is rewarding, but be extra careful with which company you deal with otherwise you will regret,I have a bad experience with this company. & i can guarantee you that they are not genuine, just like the track-it they are trying to defend. All crooks.
