It's a tv station! Meaning you don't have to programe it into your tv set or tune into it. The others will still be there. I have TV stations on my tv eg that U(something), Kiss Tv etc that neither I or any member of my family watches.

BBI will solve it

This is an Idea which is late for implementation. A vernacular TV is definitely be a killer. You will be surprised to see that my guuka in shags want to watch news just to see photos of Kibaki and Raira. Not to hear anything!

It is an idea which can make millionaires very quickly. Business news are very wide and can command a heavy following. We are tired of watching soaps in all stations between 8 and 9pm. Qtv has brings news at this time and very extensive ones. I think you can try mixing with entertainment. Kihenjo's and the company do the best of humor. Songs of Queen Jane, Kapuuzi gakwa, Piriton, D'emathew and name them. This will be a good opportunity to see them live live.
Think of Gikuyu topics like ruracio, kuguraria, uthoni, kuhikania, mathiko etc. Give advise on circumcision etc etc.

Remember to invite me for a talk targeting teenagers.

I actually agree with @Lolest!
When it comes to business news, CNBC is an excellent working model! I still remember their documentaries (Google, Coca-Cola...etc) to date they were so good!

My two cents? You're right on the money when it comes to keeping it Business. Not so sure that a vernacular station is the way to go though - especially one that plays after a common stereotype. Keep in mind that in the business-world, sponsors will not always be Kikuyu, and Kikuyu viewers will not always fall into the sponsor's demographic.

Someone will make millions here.
